Welcome to the Lil' Country Shoppe
Thanks for taking time to visit. Grab a cup of coffee/tea, make yourself at home and wander around our home. If you're near Middletown, Delaware, stop by our cozy shoppe established October 2002. We have a great selection of fabrics, books, patterns, and notions for quilting, rug hooking, needlefelting and punchneedle. The staff loves to try new techniques and products plus add their own twist. Our unique shop and staff have a several exclusive designs available. We welcome all questions and are always willing to help you with your project. The staff love it when you bring in Show and Tell as well as do our customers. We love the primitive and country but do carry a variety.
Happenings:Backyard Quilt Show: Sat, September 27, 2008 -- 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM -- Third Annual Backyard Quilt Show. We would like for all of you to enter quilt(s) in our show so it is never too early to start thinking on which one! There aren't any rules on type, size, whose pattern, where the fabric came from, where you took the class; this is just an event for you and your fellow quilters to enjoy. We all love Show & Tell and this is just one big show and not much telling!!!!Quilt Retreat -- November 2, 3, and 4th at the Atlantic Sands in Rehobeth Beach Delaware
The Rumers are flying and yes it is true!! What is it you say? We have purchased an old farmhouse and will be moving the shop eventually. It is only 1 mile from the present shop and needs lots and I mean lots of work but if everything goes as planned we'll be adding on. Guess that means more space for more fabrics, and whatever we can find that makes us better. Yes we are even thinking a classroom with classes and more special events. Don't worry we'll tell you well in advance of when we will be moving. I can't wait but all good things come with time. |
